Dear students,

if you enjoy writing essays in English and possess great critical thinking and argumentation skills, this is a great competition for you! :)

OXBRIGHT is an organization that offers many summer schools, internships, and a variety of courses. Therefore, by winning this competition, you would be attending a summer school of your choice, participating in an internship, or you could be also awarded a certificate of achievement. 

Students submitting their essays must be between 15 to 18 years old. Entries close at 9 PM UK time on 30th September 2023.

You can choose one out of the following subjects to write your essay about. Preferably one that you like or would like to study at university.

Essay Question 2023:
Many believe we face daunting global challenges ahead. How can long-term thinking in the field of /your chosen subject/ foster optimism about the future?

Your essay should be about 500 words long (about 3,800 characters) and the title should have about 100 characters. There should be references to support your ideas.

Each student submitting an essay earns 2/0 pts in English subject. Competition participation (or winning) always looks great in resumé or university applications :)
