On Tuesday 19/9/2023 history buffs from the 4th grade of the grammar school visited the biggest bunker in Slovakia, Bunker BS-8 in Petržalka. We found out not only what different time periods the area went through, such as the Munich Agreement or the Holocaust, but also what it was like to live in a military bunker. We checked out the antique gas masks and communication devices, too. In the vicinity of the bunker we also saw a replica of what the border region looked like during socialism and a World War I cemetery.
