Excursion to Auschwitz and Krakow

On November 20–21, 2025, 46 students from the third and fourth grades participated in an educational excursion to the former Auschwitz–Birkenau concentration camp and the city of Krakow. The students had the opportunity to walk through the authentic spaces of the camp, which has become a symbol of the tragedy of millions of victims of the Nazi regime. During the guided tour, they learned about historical facts, the living conditions of the prisoners, and the importance of remembering these events to protect human rights and democracy today.

On the second day, the excursion continued with a tour of Krakow. Students visited the Wawel Castle grounds, walked through its gardens, and saw the cathedral. This allowed them to explore the historic center of Krakow and experience the pre-Christmas atmosphere of one of Poland’s most beautiful cities.

The excursion was a powerful and educational experience for the students, leaving a lasting impression on them.
