Dear students,
a year has passed and once again we have the international English language competition Best in English 2025 :)
The competition will take place next Thursday, 27 November 2025, during the 4th and 5th lessons in the IT labs and in III.D classroom. You may use the school computers with headphones or even bring your own laptops and tablets – I will provide the Wi-Fi password. Don't forget to bring your headphones :)
After we fill in all of the required info, you will have 60 minutes to complete the test (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar). You earn the final score not only for correct answers, but also for the time in which you submit the test. In the competition, you can win a language stay in Canada or a variety of summer school courses in Prague.
You can also earn extra points (out of zero) in the subject of English for excellent representation in the competition. Students with the best results from our school will also receive an English book of their choice :) Don´t forget - a participation certificate looks great on your university application! :)
Register with Ms. Latková in person (2nd floor) or via Teams. After registering, I will add you to a group chat where you will find more detailed information about your category.
